India Mission Trip

INDIA!!! Who… Us?

Ps.71:18 ”Now when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to everyone that is to come.”

Vaughn had been praying this summer about how this was to be worked out in his life. Friends had been encouraging us to be open to God’s leading whatever that might be and not to limit God!

On Aug 30th, God showed us what this might look like. We arrived home from a few days away to find a message on our phone from Shant Manuel of Far Corners ministries. Would Vaughn be interested in going to INDIA to teach the Bible to men preparing for ministry? WOW!!! On speaking to Shant we learned that they were praying for a few ladies to speak at the ladies conference going on at the same time. WOW again!!!

As we prayed and asked others to pray there was confirmation that this was indeed the Lord’s leading. Though we do feel inadequate and a bit overwhelmed with less than two months to prepare.

On November 1, 2012 we will be part of a team of ten going to northeastern India. We will be present at the graduation of the first group of forty men to finish their two-year training. They will be presented by Far Corners Ministries with a set of commentaries in Bengali. Then a new group of 80 to 100 men will begin their courses. How exciting to be part of that.

Singing and Serving

The Hyssongs travel full-time sharing the Gospel through the powerful medium of music. Dell, Susan, & Richard Hyssong encourage and delight audiences wherever they appear with their family vocal harmony, lively energetic style, humor, and brass instruments (trumpet & trombone).

The award winning trio consistently has top 40 songs on the radio charts. They perform more than 250 times each year in churches, auditoriums, gospel cruises, (as well as television and radio). During the last two years, they have sung more than 12 times at Dollywood and have been featured in the Singing News. They travel throughout the United States and Canada; and during 2010, they had the privilege of going to El Salvador, Central America with Compassion International.

The Hyssongs record on the Sanctuary label at the Chapel Valley Studio in Sharps Chapel, TN. God has truly blessed their ministry as they continue to sing and praise the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior.
